It is fully equipped with a modern kitchen, dining room table for up to 16 people, comfortable sitting room with stone fireplace, loft library full of Alaskan stories, maps, and history, large deck with views of the Kenai River and surrounding mountains, as well as a BBQ grill and picnic tables. Cecil Cabin Built in 2002, our most recent log cabin has three spacious bedrooms with three bathrooms. Comfortably equipped with a common dining and sitting area, guests will find convenient appliances and a charcoal grill for meal preparation. The cabin also provides a deck with panoramic views and a picnic table. Rent a private room independently, or the entire cabin for your group. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Kachemak Room: 2 Full Beds Iliamna Room: 2 Full Beds K'beq Room: 2 Queens Russian River Cabin The Russian River Cabin was originally built in 1974, and later remodeled in 2001. This cabin serves as our honeymoon suite for exclusive property rentals, or a common recreational area for the Main Lodge and Mt. Cecil Cabin guests. It has two levels with the main floor housing a billiard table, 50" plasma TV with DVD player and VCR, as well as a glass-enclosed sun room with wood stove. The lower floor has one bedroom and one bathroom, a 36" LCD TV with DVD player and VCR, comfortable sitting area with DVD and VHS library, hot-rock sauna and, on the outside deck, a seven-person jacuzzi hot tub. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. ACTIVITIES NEARBY: Fishing: there are numerous spots in the area for the experienced angler, or have our staff arrange a guided river trip, fly-out, or deep-sea fishing for you and your group. Rafting: take a scenic raft tour on the Kenai River or brave Six-Mile's class V rapids. Horse-back Riding: our staff can arrange guided trips into the surrounding trails and hills of Cooper Landing. Hiking: there are over 300 miles of hiking trails on the Kenai Peninsula ranging from easy to difficult. Spend the afternoon or all day gaining elevation and panoramic views of Alaska. Kayaking: take an afternoon paddle on majestic Kenai Lake with a local guide service or experience the splendor of Resurrection Bay on sea kayaks.
